Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy applies to all services provided, including:

  • In-person classes, workshops, trials and competitions

  • 1-to-1 training sessions

  • Nature walks

  • Online coaching

  • Personalised training plans

  • Digital downloads and online programmes

By booking or purchasing a service, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms below.

1. Booking & Payment

All classes, workshops, trials, competitions, walks and training services must be paid for in full at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Payment plans may be available for certain programmes; however, the full balance must be paid before the class or workshop begins.

  • Online services must be paid in full prior to delivery.

2. In-Person Classes, Workshops and Walks

Cancellations by You (the Client)

More than 7 days’ notice before the class, walk or workshop start date:

  • You may cancel and receive a full refund, or

  • Transfer your place to a future session (subject to availability).

Less than 7 days’ notice before the start date:

  • No refunds are offered, as your space cannot usually be filled at short notice.

  • You may transfer your booking to another suitable person (subject to prior approval).

Non-attendance, late arrival, or early departure:

  • Missed sessions are non-refundable.

  • Sessions cannot be rescheduled or carried forward.

Multi-Week Courses

For courses running over multiple sessions:

  • Refunds or partial refunds are not available once the course has started.

  • Missed sessions cannot be refunded or transferred.

Your booking secures your space for the full duration of the course.

Cancellations by Me (the Trainer)

If a class or workshop must be cancelled or rescheduled due to illness, unsafe weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • Transfer to a future session.

No liability is accepted for external costs such as travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings.

3. 1-to-1 Training (In-Person)

Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

If I need to cancel, you will be offered a rescheduled session or a full refund.

4. Online Coaching (Live Virtual Sessions)

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: non-refundable.

  • No-shows: non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not available once a session has taken place.

If cancellation occurs more than 48 hours in advance and you choose not to reschedule, a refund may be issued minus any processing fees.

If I need to cancel, you will be offered a rescheduled session or a full refund.

5. Personalised Training Plans

Personalised plans are bespoke and created specifically for you and your dog.

  • If cancellation occurs before work has started, a full refund will be issued.

  • Once work has commenced, refunds are not available.

  • After delivery, personalised plans are non-refundable.

6. Online Courses & Programmes

For structured online programmes:

  • A 7-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase, provided no more than 20% of content has been accessed.

  • After 7 days, or once substantial content has been accessed, refunds are not available.

7. Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products:

  • All digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered or accessed.

If you experience technical access issues, please contact me within 7 days so this can be resolved.

8. Trials, Competitions and Preparation

Trial, competitions and preparation classes, mock trials, and competition-specific workshops follow the same cancellation terms as in-person classes and workshops:

  • Full refund with more than 7 days’ notice.

  • No refund within 7 days of the event.

Places are limited and structured for specific group sizes.

9. Dog Welfare and Suitability

Your dog’s welfare is always the priority.

If it becomes clear that a class, workshop or session is not suitable for your dog, I may recommend:

  • An alternative class

  • 1-to-1 support

  • Online coaching

  • A modified training pathway

Refunds in these circumstances are not guaranteed but may be considered at discretion on a case-by-case basis.

10. Behavioural Outcomes Disclaimer

Training outcomes depend on:

  • Consistency of implementation

  • The dog’s temperament and history

  • Environmental variables

  • Guardian engagement

Specific behavioural results cannot be guaranteed. Refunds are not issued based on outcome expectations.
